A café in Leek has been put up for sale as its owners are looking to relocate.
Keik, which is located at the Sheep Market and sells speciality coffee, hot chocolate and a range of cakes, announced their hopes to sell on Sunday (2nd January).
The owners say that taking on the café could be "an exciting opportunity" due to its "established customer base" and "flourishing" location.
They also highlighted the Totally Locally campaign as an excellent way of supporting local businesses.
A spokesperson said: "Sadly we are having to sell our busy, bustling little coffee shop located on the busy main thoroughfare of Sheep Market in the lovely market town of Leek.
"The shop has seating areas inside and out, with the outside area benefitting from an electric awning so people can be seated outside in all weathers.
"We currently offer both a take out or eat in service and we serve primarily speciality coffee, tea, hot chocolate homemade cake, sour dough sandwiches and homemade soup.
"There is also retail space/shelving available inside to sell related retail items including coffee, tea and gift products.
"The building consists of two floors, the first being the coffee shop and in the basement, the bakery/kitchen. Both floors were newly fitted out in March 2021.
"Current turnover is very good even with our current minimal opening hours and there is lots of scope for increasing the turnover for the new owner.
"This is a really exiting opportunity for people interested in offering amazing coffee and high quality homemade food in a busy and flourishing market town with an already established customer base.
"Leek is where the nationwide Totally Locally organisation was launched, and they offer excellent support to local businesses.
"The sale is to include all fixtures, fittings and equipment, all recently purchased/fitted to a very high standard.
