Police patrolled playing fields in Leek after receiving reports of anti-social behaviour this weekend.

Officers patrolled the area around Westwood Recreation Ground, Westwood Road, on Sunday (26th September) and said they will continue to do so in an effort to tackle any anti-social behaviour in the area.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team said yesterday: "Following reports raised by the local community, Staffordshire Moorlands Officers will be continuing to patrol the area of Westwood Recreation Ground during the evenings to tackle Antisocial Behaviour."
