Police appeal after reports of shed break-ins and tools stolen in Leek

Police have appealed for information after receiving reports of shed break-ins in Leek, with lawnmowers and hand tools being stolen.

Police have received two separate reports of such incidents in the Ladderedge area of Leek.

Officers have now asked residents to ensure all their outbuildings are locked properly and their valuables are secure.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police asked anyone with information to contact them.

They said: "Police have received two separate reports of shed breaks in the area of Ladderedge Leek over recent days, lawn mowers and hand tools have taken.

"Please take the opportunity to review home and outbuilding security and keep valuables out of sight. Should you have any information about the thefts please make contact via telephone 101, Facebook or Twitter quoting 0817 of 0720 of 09/06/2022."
