Police appeal after Leek nightclub glass smashing leaves woman with facial injuries

Police are appealing for information after a glass being smashed in a Leek nightclub left a woman with facial injuries.

The incident took place at the 3D nightclub on Market Place in Leek in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police have now asked anyone with information to get in touch with them.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "Police were called at 2.30am on Sunday (13 February) to a premises on Market Place, Leek, following reports of violence.

"A woman reported sustaining facial injuries after a glass was smashed close to her by a male offender.

"The woman informed local patrolling officers nearby.

"She did not require hospital treatment.

"Officers are appealing for anyone who saw what happened or who may have relevant CCTV footage of the area at the time of the incident to get in touch.

"Contact Staffordshire Police on Facebook, Twitter, or call 101, quoting incident number 065 of 13 February."
