A new interactive map has been released which shows the most 'Wikipedia'd' person in every town of the UK.

Created by The Pudding, the People Map of the UK shows the person who's Wikipedia page has the most views in each of the country's towns and cities.

So who has the most from Leek?

The map shows that the most 'Wikipedia'd' person from Leek is the late darts player Eric Bristow MBE.

Originally from Hackney, Bristow was born in 1957 and was nicknamed 'The Crafty Cockney', ranking as world number 1 by the World Darts Federation a record five times.

He won an overall 70 titles across his long career, before retiring from the competitive game in 2007.

His family home was located at Milltown Way, Leek, which is the source of his local link to the town.

In 2012, Bristow also participated in the reality show 'I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!' and finished fourth.

Bristow died on 5 April 2018, after a heart attack while attending a Premier League Darts event at the Echo Arena in Liverpool.
