What's on in Leek this weekend? - Live music, repair cafe, and football

Did you know that Leek Nub News has its very own local What's On page?

Phoenix Singers

On Saturday the Phoenix Singers will be performing at Trinity Church.

The show is a special concert with guest soloists, marking the 150th anniversary of the birth of composer Ralph Vaughan Williams.

Tickets are £10 and the show gets underway at 7.30pm.

Repair Cafe

The repair cafe is returning to Foxlowe Arts Centre on Saturday.

Bring along your broken domestic items and a team of volunteer repairers will see if they can show you how it can be fixed.

The repairs are free of charge but you may have to cover the cost of any replacement items.

Leek Town vs Hanley

Also on Saturday, Leek Town FC are playing at home in a local derby against nearby Hanley Town.

The match kicks off at 3pm at Harrison Park for the fixture in the Northern Premier League West division.

Leek are currently 5th in the table and Hanley are down in 15th so the blues will be hoping for a win.
