A competitive eating YouTuber took on a crazy food challenge offered by a pub just outside Leek last week.

The YouTuber BeardMeetsFood, who has over 2 million subscribers and posts videos of himself taking on "eating feats of monumental proportions" on his channel, uploaded a video of himself taking on a food challenge at the Powys Arms in Wetley Rocks.

The pub is about three miles south of Leek on Cheadle Road.

He took on the pub's 'Steak Stack Challenge', which had never been beaten in the nine months since it was first offered.

The challenge consists of an insane 40oz of steak, topped with cheese and bacon, and accompanied by 750g of chips, onion rings, mushrooms and tomatoes.

The challenge costs £34.95 to order, but if you manage to eat it all in under 45 minutes, you get the whole thing for free!

BeardMeetsFood got stuck straight into the challenge, and amazingly managed to complete it, clearing his plate in under 20 minutes.

He even had room to order some dessert afterwards!
