Police are continuing to investigate after a car was set on fire in the car park of Leek's Asda supermarket last week.
We reported recently how a car was ablaze in the Asda car park on Springfield Road in Leek last Monday afternoon.
Officers now believe the car was deliberately set alight and are looking to speak to anyone who may have any information.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team said: "We are investigating after a vehicle was set alight in the Moorlands on Monday (13 June).
"At 1.05pm, police received reports of a silver Renault Clio which was well-alight on a supermarket car-park on Springfield Road in #Leek.
"It is believed that two people, both wearing masks and dressed in dark clothing, deliberately ignited the car before leaving the scene in a white vehicle.
"Officers attended alongside colleagues from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service who managed to extinguish the fire.
"Police are reviewing CCTV footage at the scene and would like to speak to anyone who may have any information.
