Officers from Staffordshire Police's local Moorlands team stopped the vehicle on Haywood Street at just after 1am on Sunday morning (3rd April).

Officers said the vehicle, which appears to be a BMW hatchback, was then found to have been driven without any insurance or a driving licence.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team said: "Local Moorlands officers have seized a vehicle this morning on Haywood Street Leek, for no insurance and driving with an expired substantive licence."
