Police investigating after man exposed himself to teenage girl on disused railway in Leek

Police are appealing for information after a man exposed himself to a teenage girl walking on a disused railway track in Leek.

Officers say the incident took place near Kiln Lane on Friday morning.

They have now released a description of the suspect and asked anyone who may have any information to contact them.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team said: "We are appealing for information following reports of a man exposing himself in Leek on Friday (17 June).

"At approximately 11.15am, it is believed that a man exposed himself to a teenage girl who was walking along the disused railway track near Kiln Lane.

"The man did not speak to the girl and did not make efforts to approach her.

"The suspect is described as white, approximately 5ft 10in tall, roughly in his 40s or 50s and was wearing a blue t-shirt and black shorts.

"Anyone with any information is asked to contact us on Facebook, Twitter, or call 101, quoting incident 449 of 17 June. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
