Police attend Leek town centre road following collision between car and pedestrian

Police attended Leek town centre yesterday (Monday 20th June) following a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian.

Officers were called to Compton Road yesterday afternoon after receiving reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a Vauxhall Corsa.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital, although police say they only received minor injuries.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police told Nub News: "Police were called at 1.20pm on Monday (20 June) to reports of a collision on Compton Road, Leek.

"The collision involved a pedestrian and a Vauxhall Corsa.

"The pedestrian received what was believed to have been minor injuries and went to Macclesfield Hospital as a precaution."
