Police investigating after finding cannabis factory in Cheddleton

Police are investigating after finding a cannabis factory in the Cheddleton area.

Police have begun their enquiries after finding what appears to be dozens of cannabis plants in the village, which is located around a mile away from Leek.

Officers are now working to detain whoever is responsible for the factory.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team said: "Local Officers are currently dealing with a cannabis factory in the Cheddleton Area.

"Enquiries are on going in order to detain the persons responsible."
