All over 50s in Leek can now book their Covid vaccine - here's how
People in Leek aged 50 and over can now get their first dose of the Coronavirus vaccine.
This means that vaccination teams are now working through cohort 9 of the priority groups, the last one needing to be completed before the April 15 deadline.
You can also access the vaccine if you are a frontline health or social care worker, if you are classed as clinically vulnerable or extremely vulnerable to the disease, if you have a learning disability or if you are the main carer of someone who is at high risk.
Eligible adults can arrange their vaccination appointment on the national booking service or by calling 119.
By contacting the national booking service you will gain access to flexible appointments at other local vaccination services seven days per week from 9am – 11pm.
Alternatively, you can wait to be contacted by your GP practice.
A spokesperson for Leek Health Centre said: "If you, or someone you know, is aged 50+ and has not yet received an appointment for the Covid-19 vaccination, please encourage them to book now through their GP Practice.
"Patients registered with us at Leek Health Centre should contact us on 01538 381022."
