Police have appealed for information following the theft of pieces of dry stone walling in the Moorlands.

The theft occurred in the village of Stanley, which is around 4 miles southwest of Leek.

Police say the theft involved a blue Mazda with a registration number beginning with CFG.

Now officers have asked anyone who may have any information to get in touch with them.

PCSO Sara Staples, of Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team, said: "We have been made aware of the theft of partial dry stone walling in the Stanley area.

"If anybody does witness anything suspicious or witnesses a blue Mazda partial reg: CFG please contact us on 101."
