Police appeal after Cheddleton playing equipment damaged twice in two weeks

Police have appealed for information after two incidents of damage to equipment at Cheddleton playing fields took place over the course of two weeks.

Officers have now asked residents to remain vigilant while on the playing fields, and to contact the police if they see anything suspicious.

PCSO Ashley Goodwin, of Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team, said: "There have been two reported incidents of damage to the play equipment on Cheddleton playing fields in the last two weeks.

"Should you have any information regarding these incidents please call 101 quoting incident number 55s of 05/05/2022.

"Please remain vigilant whilst on the playing fields and if you see damage being caused please contact Staffordshire Police on 999 if it is happening at the time or on 101 if it has already happened."
