Patients at Leek Health Centre have been invited to attend and ask any questions they have about the health centre at its first ever Patients' Meeting next week.
The meeting will take place next Wednesday (15th June) at 7pm at Trinity Church Hall on Derby Street in Leek.
Local health bosses say the meeting has been called to give patients the opportunity to receive answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about healthcare in Leek.
Residents will be able to ask things they may have wondered, such as:
- Why are there long phone queues?
- Can I see someone face to face?
- Why does the receptionist need to know what's wrong?
- Can I have an evening appointment?
PPG deputy chair Ian Robbins and practice manager Samantha Brown said: "All these questions and many more will be addressed at the meeting by a leading general practitioner and managers from the practice.
"There will also be an opportunity to learn more about the services now being offered by Leek Health Centre including but not limited to social prescribing, the pharmacy team, dietary advice and occupational therapy.
"We look forward to seeing you there. This meeting is being organised by Leek Health Centre's Patient Participation Group and Practice Staff, in cooperation with Leek & Biddulph Primary Care Network."
