Drugs, cash and designer clothes were among some of the items seized as police raided a number of Leek properties.

Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team informed residents of the items they had seized yesterday after executing a number of warrants in the Leek area.

They said the raids were made possible thanks to "information from the community" and asked residents to keep them updated on any illegal activity in the local area.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team said: "Following warrants executed in the Leek area, a large amount of cash, drugs, stolen items, designer clothing and luxury items have been seized.

"This is a result of information from the community, please continue to update us of unlawful activity in your area."
