All over 18s in Leek can receive a Coronavirus vaccine from Monday, following an outbreak of the Indian variant in the town.
Nationally, only over 30s can currently book their vaccine, but the jab has been made available to over 18s in Leek in an effort to combat the Indian variant.
Leek Nub News reported previously how 1,000 Leek students were told to self isolate after an outbreak occurred in several schools around the town.
Extra testing has also been laid on at several Leek locations, with over 350 people getting tested on the first day.
The vaccination clinic is for residents of Leek only, within the ST13 postcode area.
Residents will need to bring proof of ID and address to their appointment - without this you will not receive your vaccine.
The clinic is for first doses only. Please visit the NHS website or call 119 if you need to book your second dose.
The clinic will be open from 12:30pm - 7:30pm at Leek Moorlands Hospital. For more information click here.
