A Cheddleton farmer was given a lifetime achievement award for his many years of voluntary work at a recent awards ceremony.
Stan Winterton was recognised at this year's Support Staffordshire Awards for his work with the Cheddleton Carnival Local Committee.
Stan is also a keen fundraiser for Cancer Research UK and has run several marathons in aid of the charity, as well as creating the now legendary Cheddleton pudding run.
Support Staffordshire's Volunteer Star Awards are designed to recognise those individuals and businesses who give up their time to help their local communities.
The awards were held last week at Westwood Golf Club in Leek.
