Eagle eyed residents could have the chance to spot the red arrows over Leek any minute now as they take part in RAF display flights today (Thursday August 11th).

The iconic jets are taking part in displays for the RAF Shawbury and RAF Valley families day, and residents may be able to spot them flying over if they manage to look in the right place at the right time.

They are expected to fly over Leek just before 7.30pm so any minute now!

However the times are subject to change so this may not be the precise time that they can be seen over the town.

The jets are passing over North Staffordshire as part of their journey from Anglesey to Crewe, before later arriving at RAF Scampton.

So keep your eyes peeled and let us know if you manage to catch a glimpse of them, or even snap some pics!
