An Indian restaurant that was based in Crewe before closing down is reopening at a new restaurant in Leek in only a few days' time.

The Spiceology Indian restaurant was based on Nantwich Road in Crewe, serving local people award winning South Asian cuisine - but it unfortunately closed down during the Covid pandemic.

However, the restaurant has now rebranded as Spice Merchant, and is reopening at new premises in Leek in only two weeks' time.

The restaurant is due to open its doors for the first time in Leek on 19th September and is currently taking bookings for tables.

The upcoming restaurant has been posting a range of videos on its Facebook page to build up some excitement for the opening.

It appears that the new restaurant will be based at Cross Street Mill.

The former Nantwich Road restaurant had a rating of 4.5 out of 5 on TripAdvisor, serving a range of Bengali and Bangladeshi dishes.
