Reporting directly to the LeadPsychologist, you will be responsible for individual and groupinterventions, diagnostic and cognitive assessments, MDT workingand risk assessments. You will also facilitate staff reflectivepractice sessions and be requested to design and delivertraining.

As a Psychologist, you will haveexperience and knowledge in carrying a service user's caseload,including assessing complex needs and designing and deliveringspecialist psychological treatments to support their careplans.

As a Psychologist you willbe:

  • Participatingin the assessment of referrals, and to provide initial assessmentservice users referred to the service.
  • Undertakinghigh quality direct (assessment & therapeutic) and indirect(consultative, advisory, and evaluative) specialist psychologicalinterventions and making autonomous clinicaldecisions.
  • Working therapeutically with service userswith complex presentations, undertake the assessments using a broadrange of structured psychometric and semi structured clinicalmethods.
  • Formulating and implementing plans ofspecialist psychological treatment or management of patients'mental health needs based on a multi-factorial psychologicalunderstanding and current evidence based bestpractise.
  • Being professionally and legallyresponsible and accountable for all aspects of clinical work andcare.
  • Maintaining high standards of care in allareas of practice and in accordance the HCPC Code ofConduct, professional guidelines and Company Policies andProcedures.
To be successful in this role,you'll need:
    Have BPSrecognised psychology degrees Be HCPCregistered
  • Have Chartered Psychologist status andappropriate post-graduate qualifications
  • Be anapproved supervisor within the guidelines of the BPS and relevantdivision
  • Have understanding of evidence-basedpsychological practice
  • Have experience of applyingpsychological knowledge to a clinical/neuro
  • Be experienced working withclients with cognitive deficits
  • Have previousexperience of conducting research and projectworking
