Job Overview

We are looking for experienced Support Workers fo children services with a background in residential care or nursing homes or supported living homes to provide high-quality support for both adults and children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to the children, tailored to their individual needs.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and social engagement.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of service users at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as per regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and other professionals to deliver exceptional care.
  • Follow all compliance and safeguarding protocols diligently.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience working in a care or nursing home setting, supporting adults and children.
  • DBS Check: A valid Enhanced DBS certificate with adult and child workforce checks and no convictions.
  • Training: Completion of all mandatory support worker training, including but not limited to:
    • Safeguarding Adults & Children
    • Manual Handling
    • First Aid
    • Health & Safety
    • Infection Prevention & Control
    • Autism & Epilepsy
    • Prevention Management of Violation and Aggression (PMVA)
  • References: Ability to provide all necessary references during the verification process.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to delivering the highest standard of care.
