Cases for Staffordshire Moorlands have started to creep back up in the last three weeks with the seven-day rate hitting 84.3 per 100,000 population. This is higher than the Staffordshire, West Midlands and England averages.

The new Let's Beat Loneliness Together campaign by Staffordshire County Council will help raise awareness of the issue and promote the services available to those affected by it. The campaign will also support those individuals or volunteers who want to do something themselves to help reduce loneliness in their local community.

The project was given the green-light last year following approval by Staffordshire Moorlands District Council for wide-ranging improvements to the Park.
