Did you know that Leek Nub News has its very own local What's On page?
On our What's On page people can submit their upcoming local events, no matter how big or small, and spread the word for free on our site to our thousands of Leek readers.
Make sure to check out our What's On page regularly to find out about the latest upcoming local events, as we update the page several times a week with all the newest things happening in the town.
We are now also going to be giving you the highlights of our What's On page in our news section with our weekly 'Event of the Week' articles - and this week we have picked out three of the most exciting events coming up in Leek very soon.
Find out about them below...
Kevin, King of Egypt
A theatre, comedy and spoken word show is coming to Foxlowe Arts Centre tonight (Thursday).
Escaped psychiatric patient Kevin Haggerty is not pleased about his diagnosis, even less pleased about being sectioned under the Mental Health Act, and distinctly upset about being told he is not the reincarnation of the pharaoh Ramses II.

Boogie Mites Ukraine Fundraiser
A music session for babies and toddlers is being held on Friday, with all the money raised going to Ukraine.
The event is being held at The Silk Mill and is perfect for children from birth up to age 5.
All of the money will be donated to the Red Cross Ukraine appeal.

Leek Hockey Club Beer Festival
A family friendly event that is free for all to attend. Showcasing the very best local and seasonal ales, alongside selected ciders and a fully stocked bar. With plenty of space for the kids to run about and play, food available including the Greek Travelling Taverna on Saturday afternoon and live music Friday and Saturday evening, this really is an event not to be missed!
