Did you know that Leek Nub News has its very own local What's On page?
On our What's On page people can submit their upcoming local events, no matter how big or small, and spread the word for free on our site to our thousands of Leek readers.
Make sure to check out our What's On page regularly to find out about the latest upcoming local events, as we update the page several times a week with all the newest things happening in the town.
We are now also going to be giving you the highlights of our What's On page in our news section with our weekly 'Event of the Week' articles - and this week we have picked out three of the most exciting events coming up in Leek very soon.
Find out about them below...
Brough Park Bandstand Concert
A free concert is being held on the bandstand at Brough Park on Sunday afternoon.
The Poyntons Youth Brass Band will be playing in the park from 2pm - 4pm.
Come and enjoy an afternoon in the park listening to the band play some tunes!

Green Arts Festival
On Saturday, the HûG 2 green arts festival is being held at Foxlowe Arts Centre, organised by Moorlands Climate Action.
There will be stalls downstairs and the café, shop and art gallery will also be open. Upstairs in the Rainbow room and neighbouring craft room there will be a range of activities and workshops, short environmental films and talks.
Outside there will be activities for children, additional workshops and much more, including a return of last year's very successful poetry readings.

The Duke
Also at the Foxlowe is a screening of the film The Duke - although we are cheating a bit here as it's just after this weekend, on Tuesday!
The film tells the story of Kempton Bunton, a 60 year old taxi driver, who stole Goya's portrait of the Duke of Wellington from the National Gallery in 1961.
