Apple Fest 2021 On Saturday 16th October the annual apple fest is back! Watch or join the apple juicing and taste or buy unusual apple varieties. You can also try a local craft cider, and a variety of jams, chutneys and cake, and there will also be activities for children. Click here to find out more.Henge in Leek
On Sunday 17th October Henge are playing at Foxlowe Arts Centre.
It promises to be a mind-boggling display of synths, cosmic indie pop, and psychedelic costumes from outer space.

Leek History Walks Have you ever fancied learning more about local history here in Leek? Residents now have the opportunity to do just that by going on a historic Leek history walk. The walks guide people around the town, discussing Leek's rich heritage going back over 800 years, and gives residents a chance to learn more about the history of where they live. The walks, which take around 90 minutes, are delivered by local resident Bill Cawley. Bill told Nub News: "It is a historic walk around Leek taking in the several hundred years of Leek history - a walk through 800 years of history." The walks begin at the Nicholson War Memorial and cost £7 per person. And the next walk is coming up soon - on Friday 15th October starting at 7:30pm.
