A job advert for Staffordshire's new Chief Constable has revealed the qualities needed to be the county's top police officer - on a healthy salary of over £156,000 per year.
Staffordshire Police are currently recruiting for a replacement to Gareth Morgan (pictured above) who retired in June after 33 years in the police force.
Since his retirement, Emma Barnett has been serving as the temporary Chief Constable, but the force are looking for a permanent replacement, with a job ad for the role posted on their website.
A YouTube video has also been posted which includes the county's Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, Ben Adams, explaining what kind of person he is looking for in the role.
The ad reveals that the force is looking for an "excellent strategic leader with an inclusive and collaborative leadership style" who can lead the county's police "in the face of significant challenges".
Mr Adams says in the video: "It's an exciting opportunity. We've got a mix of challenges, urban and rural, but a great team to support you, and a real commitment right through the ranks to the safety of people in their county."
