Two women taken to hospital as police shut Leek Road following collision

Two women were taken to hospital following a two vehicle collision on Leek Road this week.

The road was closed yesterday (Thursday 6th October) while emergency services attended the incident.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "Police were called at 3.45pm yesterday (6 October) to a report of a two vehicle road traffic collision on Leek Road in Endon.

"The road was temporarily closed whilst emergency services responded.

"Two women were taken to hospital for further treatment."
