Residents still have two chances to take advantage of free parking in Leek in the run up to Christmas.

Free parking is still available in Leek on two more days in December as residents head into town to do some Christmas shopping.

Staffordshire Moorlands District Council is offering free parking at its car parks in Leek on the following days in December:

- Saturday 11th December (tomorrow)

- Saturday 18th December

Car parks throughout Staffordshire Moorlands are also free of charge from Monday - Friday after 3.30pm and free on Sundays and public holidays until the new year.

Short stay car parks offer a maximum of 3 hours parking, while the long stay ones offer all day parking.

A spokesperson for the district council said: "All other parking regulations still apply.

"Please park carefully or you may be issued with a penalty charge."
