Leek residents have warned against using a cash machine in the town - reporting problems with their cards after using the machine.
Residents took to social media to discuss the cash machine outside the McColl's store on Abbotts Road in Leek, with some saying they had noticed transactions being made from their account after using the machine.
A Leek resident asked: "Has anyone else had problems with their card after using the cash machine at McColls up Haregate?
"I used it on the 27th and I've had four transactions come out in the past few days that aren't me."
Several residents have since replied to report their own problems, with one saying: "I never use it after my details got cloned from there years ago."
Another added: "It's been one of the worst in Leek up until the last year or so. It's slowed down now."
While a third said: "I would never use that one. It's always being messed with. My husband had a lot of cash stolen after using that one."
Several other residents also commented with their own negative experiences after using the machine, but some also defended it, with one saying: "I use it every single week, as do many thousands of other people with no problems."
