Police have named the man charged with making a bomb threat to Royal Stoke University Hospital yesterday morning.
Nub News reported yesterday how a man was arrested after police were called to a bomb threat at the hospital.
Armed police were called to the hospital at around 6am and conducted a "thorough search".
A 39-year-old man from Stoke-on-Trent was arrested and remains in custody, and officers say the bomb threat issue has now been resolved.
Police have now named the 39-year-old man as Bestun Saied, of Burslem. He appeared before magistrates in Newcastle-under-Lyme this morning (27th July).
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "A 39-year-old man will appear before magistrates this morning (July 27) charged with falsely reporting a bomb threat at the Royal Stoke Hospital.
