Police investigating incidents of suspicious men approaching women in Leek

Police have appealed for information as part of their investigation into suspicious men approaching women in Leek.
Inquiries are currently ongoing regarding two incidents, and police say they will be reviewing CCTV and dashcam footage in the areas where they took place.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police gave more information about the incidents.
They said: "Police were called to a premises off Stanley Street, Leek, just before 1am on Friday (12 August) following reports of a suspicious incident.
"A woman reported being approached by an unknown man at around 11.55pm on Thursday (11 August).
"The woman left the area a short time later.
"The woman was not hurt and made it to a place of safety.
"The suspect is described as Asian, in his mid-30s, of slim build, around 5ft'8ins in height, wearing blue jeans, black trainers and a blue t-shirt.
"Police were also called to an address off Buxton Road, Leek, just before 11.30pm on 31 July, after a girl, 14, reported being approached by a man driving a silver car.
"The girl departed the scene on foot and got to a place of safety.
"The incident happened at around 9.40pm on 31 July.
"Inquiries are ongoing in relation to both incidents."
Sergeant Darren McGrath, of the Staffordshire Moorlands Local Policing Team, said: "I would like to reassure the community that we will be increasing patrols in the local area and reviewing CCTV and dashcam footage of the areas at the time of the reported suspicious incidents.
"Anyone who may have seen what happened or thinks they may have relevant footage or information relating to these incidents is asked to get in touch with us."
