Updated: Police appeal for witnesses following fire at Biddulph play area

Update: Police originally stated that this fire took place on Moorland Road in Leek, however it in fact took place on Moorland Road in Biddulph. Read the updated version below.

Officers are appealing for witnesses after a fire in Biddulph.

Police were called to a play area on Moorland Road at 1.45am this morning (Saturday 18 September) to reports that a climbing frame was alight.

An investigation into the fire is ongoing.

Anyone with any information should message Staffordshire Police on Facebook or Twitter quoting incident number 78 of 18 September, call 101 or alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
