Police and ambulance attend three-vehicle accident just outside Leek

Police cars and an ambulance are currently in attendance of a three vehicle accident near Leek.

The accident took place in the Rudyard area of Macclesfield Road, just outside Leek.

The road is currently closed, and will remain closed while emergency services complete their investigation and recovery work.

Police say that nobody has been seriously injured in the accident.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team said: "Police and Ambulance are currently at the scene of a three vehicle accident on Macclesfield Road, Rudyard.

"The road will be closed for investigation and recovery.

"There are no serious injuries reported at this stage."
