The play area in Leek near Brough Park leisure centre has now opened, just in time for the little ones to enjoy over the bumper Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
Some of the facilities are currently still unavailable to use, but the rest of the equipment is open and ready to be enjoyed by visitors.
Some painting work still needs to be carried out, but this will be left until after the Easter holidays.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Moorlands District Council said: "We're delighted to have been able to open the new play area at Brough Park in time for the Easter weekend.
"The roundabout and the multi-use games area are out of action of the time being, due to a safety issue, but we hope people will enjoy the rest of the facilities in the meantime.
"The painting of the tarmac in the play area will now be carried out after the Easter school holidays to limit disruption.
"Just a reminder that people can meet outside in groups of no more than six OR two households and social distancing rules and hand sanitising rules still apply.
"So please remember hands – face -space -fresh air and let's all do what we can to keep each other safe."
