Leek residents will have the opportunity to put their wits to the test against one of the UK's most famous quizzers in a new local online quiz night.

Residents have been invited to take part in a quiz this Thursday that will be attended by Paul Sinha from the hit ITV game show The Chase.

The Sinhaman is joining to take part in the latest local quiz hosted by Ben Knight, who has been running his Smartphone Quiz Knights online quizzes over lockdown to keep the people of Leek entertained.

Previous quizzes have seen residents testing their Disney knowledge, as well as flags, countries and borders in an 'Are You Smarter Than A 4 Year Old' quiz.

Other quizzes have also raised money for good causes, such as the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and a USA football scholarship.

Ben said: "We have a special treat for you on the 20th May. Chaser, Paul Sinha (ITV The Chase) is joining us to take part in a Thursday night special edition Quiz."
