Many thanks to Andy Spragg from Leek Hockey Club for submitting this post! We reported previously how two Leek Hockey Club members were representing England in a tournament in South Africa. Matt "Stan" Boardman and Ant Mellor were in Cape Town, South Africa this weekend, representing England Over 45s and Over 50s respectively. We now have an update on how they performed - Andy said:

"Congratulations to Leek HC's Matt Stan Boardman and Ant Mellor for both winning Bronze Medals at the Hockey Masters World Cup in Cape Town.

"Matt represented England O45s beating South Africa 4-2 and Ant represented England O50s also beating South Africa 4-1, with Ant grabbing one of the goals!"
