A Leek care home has got off to a good start in the town, receiving a 10 out of 10 score on a care home review site after its grand opening last year.
Opened in April 2021, Hen Cloud House is a 66-bed care home based in Leek.
Hen Cloud House recently received a perfect score of 10 out of 10 on carehome.co.uk, the UK's number one care home reviews website. The score, made up of a series of reviews by residents' family members, makes Hen Cloud House the top-rated care home in Leek, and only 16 care homes in the whole of the West Midlands currently have the perfect 10 score.
Hen Cloud House's grand opening event in 2021 was attended by Leek Town Mayor for the year, Lyn Swindlehurst, who did the honours of cutting the ribbon, before delivering a speech. Town Crier, Bill Lomas was also in attendance, alongside local Councillors Charlotte Atkins, and Ben Emery.
Hen Cloud House is one of Borough Care's 12 homes which are located across Stockport and Staffordshire.
Borough Care CEO Dr Mark Ward said: "Receiving a perfect score of 10 out of 10 on carehome.co.uk is a testament to the dedication of the team at Hen Cloud House, and something that we can all be proud of.
"Borough Care is a great organisation to work for, with clear career progression, fair pay, and a range of benefits on offer.
"We are really looking forward to hearing from candidates in Leek and the surrounding areas who share our passion for helping residents to live life in colour."
One of the reviews said: "Staff rolled out the red carpet and provided a welcome pack on arrival. The whole unit looks like a 5-star hotel. All staff are exceptionally friendly and invested in helping my dad. We can visit at any time and are always made welcome. Nothing is too much trouble for them – I wish I could move in!"
The Leek care home is currently recruiting new members to join its team, with the Care Home Business Manager role up for grabs, as well as opportunities available for carers.
