All of the roads that are due to be resurfaced in Leek this year have been revealed after the full list was released by Staffordshire County Council.
The council has released a list of every road in the Moorlands that is due to be resurfaced at some point in 2021.
Only three roads are on the list, and work will be undertaken between 7am and 8pm, with a 10mph speed limit in place on the roads while the work is going on.
Councillor David Williams, cabinet member for highways, said: "Good roads are hugely important to residents, motorists and, of course, the economy and it is important to invest in keeping them safe and well maintained.
"Over the spring and summer months our highways crews will be carrying out surface treatments on many of our roads to preserve their condition. This means these roads will last longer and not require as much maintenance in the future. It's an approach we have been using extensively across the county which has been very effective and helps to free up resources which can then be used on more serious repairs.
"Crews will be starting the programme shortly and I would like to thank people in advance for their co-operation while the work is being carried out."
The Leek roads due to be resurfaced are:
- Salisbury Street
- Chorley Street
- Strangman Street
