Drugs and cash seized as police raid Leek house

Police seized a "large quantity of drugs" as well as cash and scales after raiding an address in Leek today (Thursday 8th September).

Officers have executed a warrant today on Alsop Street in Leek.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team said: "A large quantity of drugs were seized along with cash, scales and other dealing equipment.

"We rely on good intelligence to plan and execute our operations, as we work to the limit the supply of drugs into our county and make the communities we serve a safer place to live.
