Patrons at a popular Cheddleton pub were treated to a surprise appearance from a celebrity customer yesterday - Clarkson's Farm star Kaleb Cooper.

Kaleb popped in for a drink at The Boat Inn yesterday evening (Sunday 29th May) and was happy to chat and take a few selfies with customers.

The pub's landlords, Vincent and Julia Hendrickson, explained to Nub that Kaleb said he was in the area because he was visiting a friend who lives locally, and they had recommended the Boat Inn to him.

Kaleb became an overnight celebrity in 2021 following the release of the hit Amazon Prime series Clarkson's Farm.

The series follows Jeremy Clarkson as he attempts to set up and run his own farm in the Cotswolds, despite having little to no farming experience.

Clarkson convinced young farmer Kaleb to help and advise him on the running of the farm, and makes regular appearances on the show, with fans soon warming to his cheerful and quirky personality.

It has since been announced that the show will be back for a second series, although a release date hasn't yet been revealed.
