Churnet View Middle School in Leek has become the latest to reintroduce face masks, bubbles and other restrictions due to a rise in Covid cases.
Nub News reported recently how Biddulph High School had once again made masks compulsory after after 21 positive Covid cases were reported since the start of this academic year.
Now Churnet View Middle School have followed suit, meaning students will have to wear masks in corridors and social areas. They have also been recommended to wear them in lessons.
The school's head teacher Steve Fryer said: "We have had a significant increase in the number of pupils with confirmed Covid results.
"As a result, the local outbreak team have advised us to reintroduce further precautionary measures.
"This approach will be reviewed in two weeks, at which point we will update you in the hope that we can withdraw this recommendation.
"We hope that you will support us with this and other measures. Our aim is to minimise the disruption to learning that isolation causes."
